My 1997 goals

Hi, I’m Tara

When a baby is born, a mother is born too, and every family deserves steady, compassionate support during that transition.

I’m a Maternal & Child Health professional, a DONA birth and postpartum doula, and a family support specialist. I bring years of experience in maternal-child health care coordination, community programs, and hands-on support with newborns and young children. My approach is calm, relationship-centered, and evidence-informed.

As a solo parent myself, I know firsthand how beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, and transformative this season can be. I also know how powerful it is to have an extra set of trusted hands, a listening ear, and someone who shows up without judgment. That lived experience shapes how I care for every family.

Unlike traditional birth doulas who are on call for labor, I specialize in scheduled postpartum, overnight, sibling, and family support. This allows me to provide consistent, reliable care especially when rest, recovery, and practical help matter most.

Whether you’re welcoming your first baby, adjusting to life with multiple children, traveling with little ones, or simply in need of a break, my goal is simple: to become part of your village when you need one most.
